Everyone thought Nipsey Hussle was crazy when he said he was going to sell autographed and numbered hard copies of his new mixtape Crenshaw for $100. He also released the project for free download but the amount of support he received from people willing to purchase was a surprise. So much of a surprise that the West Coast rapper made $100,000 off purchases. Giving fans the option of downloading for free or supporting the artist and purchasing has now been taken to another level with what Neighborhood Nip has done. Now let’s see if any other artist take a page from his marketing book.He also announced that he will be heading out on aCrenshaw tour, yet no dates have officially been announced yet.
